Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster says it is a compliment to be linked with a transfer to reigning Premier League champions Chelsea, but insists he is focusing his efforts on finising the season off well at St Mary's Stadium.
Recent reports have suggested that Chelsea are interested in Forster as a potential replacement for the Blues' first-choice shot-stopper, Thibaut Courtois, whose future at Stamford Bridge has been speculated about in recent months.
Forster has two more years left on his current deal at Southampton, but has not yet signed a contract extension.
The 28-year-old insists he is enjoying his time with the Saints, but admits he is still flattered to be linked with a club such as Chelsea.
"I think it is a compliment in many ways because if you are being linked with teams then you are obviously doing the right things," he said.
"I have two years left on my contract at Southampton and I have loved my time here. I can't thank the club enough for the way they have stood by me when I was injured.
"I'm just concentrating on the day-to-day business here at the club and then hopefully I can have a good summer with England."
