Official: Van Ginkel completes season-long loan move to AC Milan

Chelsea have confirmed that Macro van Ginkel's loan move to AC Milan.

The Dutch midfielder joins the Serie A giants on a season-long loan move, having arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer from Eredivisie side Vitesse.

The announcement comes a matter of hours after the club confirmed that Nathaniel Chalobah had joined Premier League side Burnley until January 2nd.

Van Ginkel’s loan move offers the 21-year-old chance to earn much needed first team football having spent much of last season on the sidelines having suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Jose Mourinho has enjoyed a successful summer in the transfer market, with new signings Diego Costa and Cesc Fabreas already showing their class for the Premier League leaders.
