Jose Mourinho's Chelsea may be struggling domestically, but they are being backed to progress further into the Champions League than Premier League-leaders Arsenal.

The Blues face a testing last-16 tie with Paris St-Germain, who knocked out Mourinho's side at the same stage last season.

However, Chelsea beat Laurent Blanc's men in the previous season's quarter-final and Mourinho will now be tasked with engineering a route past the Ligue 1 champions once more.

The Blues visit the Parc des Princes on February 16, before welcoming Blanc and his charges to Stamford Bridge on March 9.

Meanwhile, Arsenal were paired with champions Barcelona for the third time in seven seasons. The draw means Arsene Wenger's, who already performed a miraculous escape to emerge from the groups, must do it the hard way.

The Gunners are due to host Barca on February 23, before travelling to the Camp Nou on March 16.

English team to go furthest

City                 4/6

Chelsea            13/8

Arsenal            6/1

But England's best hopes, according to BetVictor's odds, lie with Manchester City. Manuel Pellegrini's men face Dynamo Kiev as they bid to book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time.
