Charlie MacDonald's ready to fight

Striker Charlie MacDonald knows it could get ugly at Dagenham and Redbridge tonight but he doesn't care, providing Brentford halt their slide.

A slump has left Brentford just two points above the relegation zone as they prepare for the match against League One's bottom club.

"Dagenham away won't be nice but we have to go there and make sure we are ready for a battle," said MacDonald.

"They are a team that are down there and struggling. We don't want to give them any incentive, or anything to hold on to. We need to be strong and be prepared for a battle. We need to win ugly."

Leyton Orient could give a debut to Jason Crowe against Brighton after he signed from Leeds. The 32-year-old former Arsenal trainee worked under Orient boss Russell Slade at Grimsby. Slade said: "He's a good utility player with a great attitude and can play anywhere across the back or in midfield."
