Barnet in tribute to Keith Alexander

Ian Gibb11 April 2012

Barnet are the latest club to honour the memory of Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander, who died last week.

Alexander played up front for Barnet between 1986-88 — one of 23 clubs he turned out for in the league and non-league — and is fondly remembered by older Underhill fans.

There will be a minute's silence before the home game with Accrington Stanley on Saturday and a giant screen will show highlights of his career.

Alexander was a protege of former Barnet boss Barry Fry, who was particularly upset by the death of his former striker.
