It's been a whirlwind season for resurgent Arsenal fans, who were calling for Arsene Wenger's head in November, while Chelsea have led the Premier League since the end of August.

The Blues' dominance has waned in recent weeks, but Jose Mourinho's pragmatic approach has seen Chelsea churn out narrow victories as they edge towards a first league title since 2010.

Cesc Fabregas has registered 16 Premier League assists, four short of Thierry Henry's record for an entire season, and Diego Costa has gobbled up the chances provided by his compatriot, scoring 19 goals during his first campaign in England.

Meanwhile, Branislav Ivanovic has had another fine season at the back, helping Jose Mourinho's side keep 15 clean sheets while contributing in the final third with four goals and four assists. Eden Hazard - who is widely-tipped to be named Player of the Year at the PFA Awards on Sunday - makes up the Chelsea representation.

But Arsenal lead the way with seven players in our title clash combined XI. Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Nacho Monreal join Ivanovic in a solid back four after impressing since the turn of the year - helping the Gunners keep six teams at bay since New Year's Day. David Ospina, who replaced Wojciech Szczesny after a disappointing defeat at St. Mary's earlier in 2015, is between the sticks.

Elsewhere, Santi Cazorla (8 goals), Alexis Sanchez (22) and Mesut Ozil (5) have started to click in the centre of the park after various injuries and suspensions disrupted their gelling period earlier in the season.

Notable absentees include John Terry, who last month signed a new one-year deal at Stamford Bridge, and Thibaut Courtois, who is poised to win a third league title (Genk, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea) keeping 10 clean sheets in the process. Olivier Giroud also misses out despite being on course for a record Premier League haul.
