Versatile: Calum Chambers looked comfortable at centre-back

Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.

The Gunners started on the front foot and deservedly went in front after 21 minutes when Santi Cazorla fired home past debutant City keeper Willy Caballero.

Things got even better for the FA Cup winners just before half-time as Aaron Ramsey latched onto Yaya Sanogo’s flick and doubled his side’s lead with a cool finish.

City looked to be getting back into the game after the interval but substitute Olivier Giroud settled things with an hour gone when he smashed in a third from 25 yards.

Caballero could have done better with the shot, but that will be of no concern to Arsene Wenger and Arsenal, who win their first Community Shield since 2004.
