Lukas Podolski wants talks with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger over his future at the club.

The 23-year-old striker has struggled to break into the first team this season, making just one start in the Premier League.

Podolski, who was an unused substitute in the 2-1 home defeat by Manchester United, revealed his frustration during an interview with German publication Kicker.

He said: “I have to try to talk with Arsene Wenger. I want a fair chance.

“I love London, I like the club but I do not like the situation.”

Podolski, who helped Germany win the World Cup last summer, joined Arsenal from Cologne in the summer of 2012.
