Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey has played down speculation linking him with a £50 million move to Barcelona.
The Wales international admitted that he had grown frustrated by the lack opportunities to play in a central role under Arsene Wenger this season, sparking talk of a move to Camp Nou.
Arsene Wenger quickly dismissed reports as speculation during a press conference last week, after it was claimed that the Liga champions were prepared to pay as much as £50 million to sign the 24-year-old.
Wales head coach Chris Coleman yesterday admitted that Ramsey is ‘good enough’ to play alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, but the Arsenal midfielder has move to distance himself from the reports, insisting that a move to Barcelona does not appeal to him ‘at this time’.
"That's just something that's been written in the papers,” he told reporters. I'm focused on Arsenal and on winning the FA Cup. That sort of news doesn't affect me or enter my mind.”

Asked if the move appealed to him, Ramsey added: "Not at this time. I'm focusing on the FA Cup, that's what appeals to me at this time."
Barcelona’s transfer embargo means they cannot bring anyone to Camp Nou before January 2016, although – as pointed out by club president Josep Maria Bartomeu last week – they can ‘sign this summer and bring them in in January’.
