Arsenal Ladies go into summer break on back of win over Chelsea (pictures)

Arsenal Ladies edged out London rivals Chelsea with a 2-1 victory in the Women's Super League last night.

Gilly Flaherty put the Gunners into the lead midway through the first half at Meadow Park before Alex Scott added a second after half-time.

Chelsea pulled one back through Eni Aluko. The league now takes a two-month summer break.
