Arsenal home kit 2016/17: Ozil, Bellerin and Oxlade-Chamberlain launch new strip ahead of next season

Arsenal have officially unveiled their home kit for the 2016/17 season.

The new red strip is the third since the club announced Puma as their official kit supplier in a £30m-a-year deal two years ago.

The sportswear giant has scrapped the partial collar on last year's shirt and replaced red piping down the shoulder with a dark trim at the top of the sleeves and around the neck.

The button at the top of the the collar has also been removed, while the Puma logo on the shoulders has changed from red to gold. The pattern and structure of the new home shirt resembles last season's gold away shirt, with straight edges marking out the red torso.

Meanwhile, Petr Cech will wear a black goalkeeper strip with luminous trim and a multicolour effect down both arms.

The 'Authentic' home shirt is available for £100, while lettering and a number on the back of your shirt will set you back a further £24. The 'Replica' jersey, meanwhile, can be snapped up for £55.

It comes after images of imminent arrival Granit Xhaka wearing the new strip surfaced on social media this weekend ahead of either the player or the kit being formally unveiled by the club.

But those snaps were not the first peak at the new Gunners ensemble, which emerged on a Dutch football website in April.
