Swansea striker Fernando Llorente has backed his former manager Antonio Conte to be a success at Chelsea - but wants to end the Italian's unbeaten Premier League record this weekend.
Conte took charge at Stamford Bridge earlier this summer and has made an impressive start to his career in English football, guiding the Blues to three wins from their first three games.
Llorente is also new to the Premier League after joining the Swans from Sevilla last month, but knows Conte well, having played for the 47-year-old while at Juventus earlier in his career.
And the Spanish striker has tipped Conte to be a hit in west London but not at the expense of Swansea, who are languishing in 14th place, on Sunday afternoon.
“I know Antonio Conte very well. I worked with him for one year and I know he is very good at his job,” Llorente told Swansea's official website.
“I think Conte will be a success at Chelsea. He can win the Premier League I think because he has some very good players.
“I enjoyed playing in his team and I will look forward to seeing him this weekend.
"I will speak to him - but hopefully we can beat his team," he added.
Conte's passionate displays on the touchline have struck an instant chord with Chelsea's fanbase and Llorente believes the Blues will soon be playing like their manager used to in his pomp.
“He is very, very good - he improves the teams he works with a lot.
“The teams he manages play with his characteristics - they play like he used to play," Llorente added.
A positive result for Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium could see Conte's side climb to the top of the table for the first time this season, depending on the outcome of the Manchester Derby.
