Alexis Sanchez the main concern, with nine Arsenal first-team stars set for international action

Vaishali Bhardwaj11 November 2015

Arsene Wenger will see nine of his first-team players leave to represent their nations during the international break, with the likes of Kieran Gibbs being called up to Roy Hodgson's England side, Laurent Koscielny set to play for France and Petr Cech expected to start when the Czech Republic play Serbia.

But what may perhaps be the most concerning of those departures for Wenger is Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez leaving to represent his nation Chile in their World Cup qualifiers after the Frenchman admitted he felt uncomfortable with the forward featuring in their last two games.

Sanchez is crucial to the Gunners' hopes of winning the Premier League title this season and, after having used the Chilean heavily since the beginning of the campaign, Wenger will hope his star player doesn't suffer an injury or tire himself out during the next two weeks.
