Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has lavished praise on his successors Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, saying the pair can help fire Arsenal to their first title since the Frenchman left.
Chilean forward Sanchez has been a revalation since his move from Barcelona last summer, firing in 25 goals including a spectacular winner in the FA Cup Final. His success throughout his English debut season earned him the club's Player of the Season crown and Henry has no doubt that Sanchez will continue to be a key cog in Arsene Wenger's side.
“If you’re an Arsenal fan, we were all waiting for that type of match-winner,” the former French international told the club website. “Look at what he did in the FA Cup final and what he has been doing since his arrival. He has been more than tremendous.
“We want to see that more and more and I know that he has that in his locker. When you have a guy like Alexis Sanchez, it is the X-factor.
"He is the guy who can change the course of a game. I love the way he plays, he plays with his heart and I know the fans love that about him."

Henry earned legendary status during an eight year spell at Arsenal, breaking the club's scoring record with 226 goals and earning the adoration of the Highbury faithful. And after a relatively fallow period at the Emirates Henry is convinced that Sanchez and Ozil can lead the charge to success.
On the Gunners' record signing Henry said: “Mesut is a very good player, we all know about his quality, we all know about what he has done in the game. He is a world champion, you have to respect that and his vision on the pitch is tremendous.
“He is an amazing player. When he is on song like he was in the FA Cup final, he is difficult to stop.
“When you have the likes of [Olivier] Giroud in the box, Alexis Sanchez running at people and Theo too, Mesut can see a pass and control the game in the same way that Santi [Cazorla] does.
And Henry is expecting big things from the duo, particularly if Wenger can improve his squad with new signings.
“As an Arsenal fan I am very excited about next season and hopefully we can bring some people to the club, some new players maybe but when you have a guy like Alexis Sanchez anything can happen. Hopefully he can fire us to the title next year.”
