England call up trio

Uncapped Newcastle scrum-half Lee Dickson has been called into the England training squad along with London Irish back Shane Geraghty and Sale Sharks flanker Magnus Lund.

Mike Tindall, David Strettle, Tom Rees and Lewis Moody will all miss Sunday's RBS 6 Nations clash with Italy after they were injured in the defeat to Wales.

Geraghty, 21, has won two England caps, while Lund, 24, has made 10 senior appearances.

Dickson, 22, was born in Germany and represented Scotland at the 2004 Under-19 World Cup before switching his international allegiance to England.

He helped England Saxons record an impressive 31-13 victory over Ireland A last Friday, while Geraghty was named man of the match.
