Marcus Trescothick of Somerset has a best score of 22 from six championship attempts while Middlesex’s Andrew Strauss’s aggregate after five knocks stands at 62.

Vaughan contributed 12 to Yorkshire’s first innings against Northamptonshire. And Andrew Flintoff fell for five at Old Trafford. Kevin Pietersen has not reached 100 championship runs for Hampshire after four innings.
