Dyer: Defeat did us a favour

Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer believes last Saturday's 5-3 drubbing at Manchester-United could be a "blessing in disguise" ahead of tonight's Champions League home game against Inter Milan.

"Everything was going well and sometimes you need a setback just for you to refocus and get yourselves back into the right mental approach because it was missing against Manchester United," said Dyer.

Newcastle have Craig Bellamy, Laurent Robert and Hugo Viana all back in the squad after injuries.
