D-Day for White

13 April 2012

Julian White, who left Saracens at the end of last season, discovers today whether the contract he signed with Bristol has to be honoured.

The England prop maintains that his three-year deal with Bristol gave him the opportunity to opt out.

At an initial hearing in May, it was indicated that White would be able to find another club and not be forced to play for Bristol.

However, a full hearing of the case will be held at a court in Bristol today when the player's situation should finally be resolved. It is believed White wants to play for Bath.
