Crystal Palace v Preston

13 April 2012

(3pm, Selhurst Park).
Tickets: £17-£25 (£5-£9 concs). Tel. 020 8771 8841
Fact: This is Preston's first visit to Selhurst Park to play Palace since February 1979. Preston's last away win over Palace came in September 1968
Recommended pub: Selhurst Arms (Selhurst Road)
Finding your way to Selhurst Park can be a draining experience but Crystal Palace must ensure Preston continue to have trouble finding the most direct route even when they step off the team bus. If they fail to block high-flying Preston's route to goal there is a danger Palace's home form, which has dipped dramatically since Christmas, will continue to slide. Palace have drawn their last three League games at Selhurst to take the shine off what was becoming a spectacular south London success story. Preston, however, are within touching distance of the play-off positions so Palace may have to settle for another point tomorrow.
Verdict: PRESTON PUSHED DOWN A CUL-DE-SAC
