Pakistan vs South Africa
2019 Cricket World Cup
Venue: Lord's
Date: Sunday, June 22, 2019
Start: 10:30am BST

This summer's World Cup finally arrives at the Home of Cricket when Pakistan take on South Africa at Lord's on Sunday.

The historic London venue will hold five matches in total during the tournament, including the final on July 14, but has had to wait for its first game.

South Africa were all-but knocked out of the World Cup by their thrilling defeat at the hands of New Zealand last time out but will be looking to restore some pride, having only beaten Afghanistan so far.

Pakistan, meanwhile, have disappointed, despite putting in a terrific performance to beat England at Trent Bridge, but in Mohammad Amir have one of the stars of the competition so far.

Five bowlers to watch at the Cricket World Cup

Result prediction: South Africa win

This should be a tight clash between probably the tournament's two biggest dissapointments so far. Neither have shown much form with the bat, but South Africa's bowlers are best equipped to take advantage of their out-of-nick opponents.
