Clarke banned for drug use

Andy Clarke, the Peterborough striker, has been suspended until the end of the month for failing a drugs test.

The Football Association hit the 34-year-old former Wimbledon star with the ban after he tested positive for an illegal substance following a league game in December.

The maximum punishment for such an offence is a two-year ban.
