Chesney signs new Saracens deal

14 April 2012

Saracens forward Kris Chesney has signed a new two-year contract with the Zurich Premiership club.

Chesney, 30, has made more than 200 appearances since joining the club in 1995, filling a number of different positions, including second-row and back-row. The new deal keeps him at Vicarage Road until 2007.

"It was a very easy decision to make," he said. "We are moving forward as a club, competition for places is very strong, and we have a great set-up and an excellent squad."
Saracens coach Steve Diamond added: "Kris is the life and soul of the club. He makes a huge contribution to Saracens, both on and off the field, and we are delighted to have him with us for the next two seasons."
