Chelsea rule out Ballack appeal
Chelsea have decided not to appeal against Michael Ballack's red card and the German international will miss their next three Premiership games.
Ballack was sent off for a stamp on Liverpool's Mohamed Sissoko in the 52nd minute of Chelsea's 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Referee Mike Riley showed him a red card for violent conduct.
Clubs are entitled to appeal against all straight reds but must register their intentions before 1pm on the day after the game.
Jose Mourinho had no complaints about the dismissal after the game and Ballack apologised to Sissoko after he watched a television replay of the incident and admitted "it didn't look good".
The deadline for appeal has passed and the Football Association have not heard from the champions.
Ballack, 29, will miss games against Fulham, Aston Villa and Reading.
He can play in the Champions League against Levski Sofia next week and will be available for domestic action against Portsmouth on October 21
