Cairns sent off as Racers slide

Former NHL ice hockey defender Eric Cairns was ejected for fighting after only five minutes as London Racers slumped to a 5-2 play-off defeat at Coventry.
Cairns, who will miss Racers' game in Nottingham tonight, could face further disciplinary measures after refusing to leave the ice and starting another fight as he was ushered away.
London had already fallen behind before Cairns was sent packing and were 4-0 down by the halfway mark.
