Unlike the eternal optimists in Division Three the powers that be at Turf Moor have decided that 90 minutes of Nationwide League action cannot compete with England's World Cup qualifier at Anfield. This should prove a nice appetiser for the good folk of Lancashire as Rangers have little option but to go for the points. Having played well but lost against fellow strugglers Grimsby last week, it's difficult to make a case for Rangers bringing back much in the way of points but new manager Ian Holloway certainly deserves a lucky break or two.
Verdict: BIG CROWD, LITTLE CHANCE FOR THE RS
