Brazil slip up

14 April 2012

Ten-man Paraguay scored a surprise 2-1 victory over Brazil in Arequipa last night, pushing the world champions into the second spot in Group C of the Copa America in Peru.

Costa Rica also caused an upset by defeating Chile by the same score.

Fredy Bareiro scored Paraguay's winning goal in the 71st minute.
