Black and Whites claim derby joy

Hull FC regained the bragging rights on Humberside courtesy of a thrilling 30-20 derby win over city rivals Hull KR.

Fourteen points from Danny Tickle, who passed the milestone of 1000 career points midway through the opening half, provided a solid base for the visitors.

Hull KR, thanks in part to a tremendous score from David Tangata-Toa, led 14-12 at the break but Hull hit back with second-half tries from Scott Wheeldon, Willie Manu and Kirk Yeaman to claim the spoils.
