Arsenal v Sunderland

13 April 2012

(3pm, Highbury).
Tickets: Sold out
Last season: 4 (Henry 2, Suker 2) 1 (Quinn)
Fact: Sunderland last won at Highbury in November 1983, when a Tony Woodcock goal wasn't enough for the Gunners as they lost 2-1
Recommended pub: The Drayton Park (66 Drayton Park)
When Liverpool put four past Arsenal's makeshift defence a week ago, the unhappiest man around, apart from Arsene Wenger, must have been Peter Taylor. The Leicester manager must have known that payback time would come swiftly - and that his team were the likely recipients. And so it came to pass with the Gunners, inspired by Thierry Henry - even the Arsenal gloves are logoed up these days - putting Leicester's title aspirations fully in perspective. Sunderland are likely to present more strident opposition tomorrow, however.
VERDICT: KING HENRY
