Ainslie's second best after frustrating day

Triple Olympic gold medallist Ben Ainslie came second in the heavyweight dinghy class on the first day of the Sailing World Cup in Weymouth.

Ainslie was impeded by a media boat before sailing down the wrong gate on the down-wind turning. He said: "It was a bit frustrating to give up the lead."

With more races to come, Ainslie needs to be in the top-10 in his class to compete in Saturday's final.
