England and Real Madrid footballer Jonathan Woodgate, 25, has split from girlfriend Kate Lawler, a former Big Brother winner turned television presenter.

The couple, together almost two years, struggled to maintain their relationship after Woodgate's £13million transfer from Newcastle to Spain last year.

Lawler, 24, is currently appearing in ITV1's Celebrity Wrestling.
