In The Wolf of Wall Street, Margot Robbie plays Naomi Lapaglia who seduces Leonardo DiCaprio’s hedonistic character Jordan Belfort and has him grovelling on his hands and knees.

But the stunning Australian actress claims that she is “definitely not the best-looking” of her friends and puts her looks in the film down to “hair extensions and make-up”.

The 24-year-old said: "In my big group of girlfriends at home I am definitely not the best looking. I did not grow up feeling like I was particularly attractive."

Robbie, who used to play Donna Freedman in Australian soap neighbours, also insists her love life is “very dull”, claiming that her only interest is her job.

The rising star, who shares a London home with five others, told Vanity Fair she enjoys taking the Tube as it is “free entertainment”.

Robbie is currently filming the new Tarzan movie where she plays Jane Porter.
