Sophie Anderton has been branded boring, self-obsessed and lazy by her female camp mates.

Former All Saint Natalie Appleton and Three Degrees star Sheila Ferguson joined forces to snipe about the model behind her back. Sheila ranted: "I just want to tell her to shut up. She's so tedious, unintelligent, transparent and boring."

Claiming that the former Gossard bra model hogs the spotlight, Natalie said: "I'm just trying to grin and bear it. She doesn't talk about anyone except herself. There are 100 things I could tell you but they will have to wait until we get out."

Sheila interrupted: "If there's a live moment, she's there. But washing up? I don't think so." Later, Sophie, 27, was pictured bursting into tears in front of Sheila. While the sound was switched off during the live ITV2 feed, the pair seemed to hug and make up.

According to insiders, the row was sparked by Nat, who told Sophie face-to-face that she had "issues".

Seeking the support of her fellow celebrities afterwards, Nat, 31, said: "I'm not going to pretend I'm not upset and not let you guys know about it."

Tensions were rising over Vic Reeves' arrival to join wife Nancy in camp. Tensions may rise higher if the contestants discover the couple signed a £150,000 secret contract to conceal the surprise.
