She lived fast and died young. Edie Sedgewick that is, but hopefully that won't be the fate of teenager Peaches Geldof, who seems to spend more time at premieres and awards ceremonies than at school these days.

The 17-year-old daughter of Bob Geldof has acquired 'It girl' status of her own as well as a five figure income for her newspaper column and various media appearances, as her mini-celebrity grows.

Seen here at the premiere for Sienna Miller's Factory Girl film, the eldest Geldof girl seems in her element on the red carpet (or pink as it was in this instance), mugging and posing for the caneras.

Maybe someone should give the girl her own reality TV show and let her have 15 more minutes of fame!
