Patsy Kensit proved you can be a soap star and still act with some decorum at a television awards show last night.

Glamorous: Patsy Kensit looks great at the end of the TV Quick And TV Choice Awards last night

The Holby City actress was one of a few who were steady on their feet as they left the TV Quick And TV Choice Awards at The Dorchester hotel.

The same could not be said for party girl Rita Simons, aka Roxy Mitchell from EastEnders. She's proving to be as feisty as her on-screen persona when there's free booze on the table, and she was the life and soul of the bash last night.

But all that socialising seemed to have taken its toll on her by the time she left The Dorchester, as she appeared to be already asleep as she got into her cab.

Everything in its rightful place for Emma Rigby and Gillian Taylforth

Hollyoaks babe Emma Rigby, who plays Hannah Ashworth, had to cope with the major distraction of making sure she didn't fall out of her low-cut dress.

Gillian Taylforth had a similar problem, but neither actress let it get in the way of their partying. Happily for the ladies, their modesty stayed intact.

Where there's booze, there's a Loose Woman

Whenever there's a TV awards ceremony (and free booze), we can always rely on a Loose Woman to make a goose of herself.

Whoopsie: Denise Welch lets herself go and then later grapples with her bag

After Carol McGiffin flashed her bum to the paparazzi last year (some of which are still receiving counselling), co-host and actress Denise Welch was the focus of their lenses last night.

Welch took a tumble as she was leaving the ceremony at The Dorchester hotel, and was left scrambling round on the floor, shoving cigarettes and make-up back into her bag. Luckily, she didn't lose her best actress award.
