Michael Owen awkwardly reacts to daughter’s sexy Love Island dance
Michael Owen has tweeted his reaction to his daughter Gemma’s striptease challenge on Love Island.
Gemma Owen, 19, could be seen wearing a black leotard with stockings and red high heels as she performed in a challenge to see who can get the opposite sex’s heart rate up the most.
While focusing her attention mostly on Luca Bish who she is currently coupled up with in the villa, she managed to raise the most heart rates out of all the girls.
Another male she managed to get a reaction out of was her famous dad.
The former striker made his feelings clear on the situation by posting an emoji covering its eyes on Twitter.
His input didn’t go unnoticed by viewers with the tweet so far amassing over 72k likes and 7k retweets.
The horse dressage champ admitted before going on the ITV2 show that her dad was far from thrilled about her taking part.
Ms Owen - who is the eldest of four children - told MailOnline: “I still wouldn’t say that my dad is buzzing about me doing Love Island.
“He’s very supportive in whatever I decide to do. He didn’t have a massive tantrum or anything like that.
“He was pretty chilled, he trusts me not to do anything to embarrass him. He took it quite well.”
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
