Singer Mariah Carey has been announced as the cover star of Wonderland magazine’s summer edition.

The best-selling female artist was photographed by controversial photographer Terry Richardson for the magazine and also took part in an interview.

Mariah spoke to Wonderland about her as of yet unnamed album, which is being released at the end of May, and how she took inspiration from her young children Moroccan and Monroe.

She said: “There's a song on the record called 'Supernatural' that I haven't talked to the media about before - it features Roc and Roe. Especially Monroe - that's her song.”

Having been hailed the ‘most exciting woman in the world’, Mariah has had an incredibly successful singing career. She is recognised as one of the most successful women in the music industry with record sales of 220 million and rising, and more Billboard No. 1 singles than The Beatles and Elvis.
