It's clearly becoming the hot celebrity trend for 2005 - Justin Timberlake has proposed to Cameron Diaz. The couple, who have been together for almost two years, became engaged over the New Year.

Diaz, 32, showed off a diamond ring on a night with friends at a LA restaurant to celebrate the engagement.

Timberlake, 23, is said to have spent a "fortune" on the ring.

A source said: "They haven't decided when they will actually get married yet. They are both busy with careers."
