He's a Hollywood veteran no stranger to being photographed, but yesterday Jon Voight gave was definitely not camera ready.

The Midnight Cowboy star eagerly flashed his smile at a DVD launch of Dirty Harry in Los Angeles, revealing a rather unsightly leftover green stuck in between his teeth.

He was, of course, oblivious to the offending chunk, making the moment all the more cringe worthy.

Thankfully it didn't stay around for long and the actor went on to mingle with his close friend Clint Eastwood without any fuss.

As well as a distinguished career, Voight is of course famous for being the father of Hollywood star Angelina Jolie.

The 69-year-old, who has shared a tumultuous relationship with his daughter over the years, is set to be a grandfather yet again as Jolie prepares to welcome twins with her partner Brad Pitt.
