Rapper Snoop Dogg has been revealed as the ultimate competitive father after using his fame to push his sons' sports team.

Dogg became an American football coach to the team of eight- to 10-year-olds at the Los Angeles school, then persuaded star players at other schools to swap sides. After the team won the league he bought each player a scooter and provided a customised bus.

They won the Superbowl in Florida and Dogg has set up a Snoop Youth Football League.

"I think what Snoop did is just so shallow," said Sandy Gonzales, who has two boys in the original squad. "He came here just so that he could take away from us what we'd taken many years to establish."

Dogg has criticised the old league for being too expensive for poor families.
