Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell and Joe Suggs put on a united front after the ballroom pro was forced to address reports that they had split.

The couple, who met while partnered on the BBC ballroom stalwart in 2018, happily posed for photos at the launch of the BBC Earth Experience in Earl’s Court.

Buswell looked chic in a grey plaid blazer and black flared trousers while Sugg donned a camel-coloured double breasted blazer, polo neck and black suit trousers for the immersive experience featuring bespoke narration by Sir David Attenborough.

Away from the cameras, a source told The Standard that the pair “looked happier than ever” as they explored the immersive event together, stopping regularly to soak up the spectacular footage hand-in-hand.

Buswell, 33, wasn’t the only Strictly dancer in attendance with Katya Jones, Vito Coppola and Luba Mushtuk walking the red carpet alongside 2021 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis.

Other notably attendees on the night included Princess Beatrice, Nick Knowles, Deborah Meaden, Curtis Pritchard, Trevor Nelson, The Script’s Danny O’Donogue and Michaela Strachan.

The couple’s public appearance comes as the dancer and 31-year-old thatcher-turned-Youtuber Sugg have been at the centre of numerous split rumours in recent months.

Whispers first began to circulate back in December when Sugg was absent from his girlfriend’s trip back to her native Australia.

Since then, despite being seen together multiple times and posting pictures of each other, fans continued to speculate about their break-up.

When the couple recently put their £1.35 million Sussex home up for sale, some took this as confirmation of their separation.

Last Monday, Lorraine Kelly seized the opportunity to ask Buswell about their relationship status while appearing on her ITV show.

“How about your lovely man Joe, are you two still dancing together?” the Scottish TV presenter, 63, asked.

Not shirking the question, Buswell replied with a smile: “Yes, we are! He puts his little ballroom frame almost every day and he’s getting better.

“He actually is very good and I’d love to do a proper competition with him and see how he goes.”
