With millions of pounds in the bank, she could afford a holiday to any exotic destination. But Demi Moore has chosen to spend her summer break in Wales.

The Indecent Proposal actress, 41, is travelling there to film romantic thriller Half Light next week and will relax in the countryside afterwards.

She plans to visit the picturesque Gower coastline near Swansea and the historic Carmarthen Castle with toyboy lover, 26-year-old Ashton Kutcher.

Half Light is Moore's first leading role for four years despite guesting in hits such as Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. Scenes will also be shot in Ireland and England.

Swansea B&B owner Sue Chandler said: 'We already have an A-list celeb in Catherine Zeta Jones. Having Demi here as well would be great.'

Suzanna van Eeghen, of Carmarthenshire County Council, added: 'We would welcome Demi with open arms and show her what a fantastic county we have.'

Moore is not the only A-lister to visit Wales this year. Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart enjoyed a narrowboat holiday on the Llangollen Canal last month.
