X-Factor judge Simon Cowell thinks he is worth five times more than Bruce Springsteen to his record company.

The music mogul appeared to be irked by the aged rocker's newly signed contract with Sony BMG, reported to be worth $100million.

Million dollar men? Bruce Springsteen and Simon Cowell both bring in big bucks for Sony BMG

In an interview to air Sunday on CBS' '60 Minutes,' he said: "I sell more records than Bruce Springsteen, sure.

"I mean, in the last five years, I've probably sold over 100 million records. If (Springsteen) got one hundred (million dollars), I should have got five hundred (million dollars)," he said.

Cowell said he had sold all those records by signing up the 'American Idol' winners and runners-up.

When asked whether his deal with Sony BMG was in the same neighborhood as Springsteens, Cowell said: "A hundred million...that's a great deal." Was he referring to himself or Springsteen? "For him," Cowell says, grinning. "For him it's a good deal."
