Textual Relations: Cara Delevingne and Anthony Joshua flirt over the phone

Model and actress Cara Delevingne and Olympic heavyweight boxing hunk Anthony Joshua have been exchanging flirtatious text messages after meeting last week.

Delevingne, 21, met London 2012 gold medal winner Joshua, 24, at a basketball event at the O2 last Thursday. After posing for a picture, they were said to have swapped numbers and have been sending each other cheeky texts ever since.

A source told The Sun: "Cara and Anthony hit it off at the game. They chatted and she asked for a picture. They swapped numbers and have had a few texts since. Although with Cara travelling the world and Anthony training hard for his upcoming fight, there's been no time to meet."

Delevingne, who in the past has been linked with One Direction lothario Harry Styles, has often said that she finds it hard to find time for a relationship due to her busy work schedule.

In 2013 Delevingne said: "It's so hard, I'm travelling all the time and the thing about me is that I'm very independent.”

She said that her romantic history was far less stable when compared to her model and socialite sisters.

“From the age of 16, Poppy and Chloe (her sisters) have had long-term boyfriends.”

She added “The longest-term boyfriend I ever had was when I was five. And I think the first proper boyfriend I had, I got hurt, and after that I was like, 'What the frick is the point?' I've never been in love, this is the thing. And how can I get someone to love me if I don't know who I am? I'm still figuring this out.”
