Taylor Swift surprises fan with meet and greet before she loses her hearing
Taylor Swift made a young fan’s dream come true when she surprised her with a visit.
Jorja, 12, from Maitland, New South Wales, wanted to meet her idol after she found out she has a condition that causes progressive hearing loss and will one day result in her going deaf.
Her twin sister Chloe launched a social media campaign – ‘#HelpJorjaMeetTaylorSwiftSydney’ – after Jorga was diagnosed with the condition.
According to the Maitland Mercury the first thing Jorga said on learning of her prognosis was: “I won’t be able to hear Taylor Swift sing.”

The meet and greet with Swift was arranged after Sydney radio station, Nova 96.9 caught on to the campaign.

Speaking about meeting the Blank Space singer, Jorja said: “She was very, very amazing and very pretty.
"I didn't expect her to be as tall as she was."
Jorja and Chloe took Swift a pair of Mortels Ugg Boots from Thornton as a gift.
"She was very excited," Jojra said.
Swift also offered the sisters tickets for her 1989 World Tour show at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
