Is there no end to Stephen Fry’s talents?

Word has reached us that last week he combined his job as host of QI with a quick matchmaking gig. Shortly before filming started on the BBC1 comedy quiz, a bashful chap in the audience asked Fry to read out a marriage proposal to his girlfriend, who was also present.

Fortunately for all concerned, the answer was “yes”, and there were cheers all round.

We assume Fry can expect a wedding invitation and is talking to Cilla about where to shop for a hat.
