Stacey Solomon praised by fans for sharing 'body positive' bikini snap

Stacey Solomon has been praised for a recent bikini snap, proudly celebrating the message “every body is beautiful”.

The mum-of-two posted a smiley snap of her wearing a black bikini, alongside Loose Women co-stars Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha, to her Instagram page on Tuesday.

She captioned the picture: “No filter needed... This pic takes me back to the incredible @loosewomen #BodyStories.

“Enjoy your summer and celebrate how wonderful you are inside and out... Every Body Is Beautiful…”

Solomon then zoomed in on her stomach for an Instagram story, writing: “"When you realise your mid-section is as proud of your body as you are.”

The singer and TV star was immediately praised by her followers for promoting a “positive” message and for being a “wonderful role model”.

One fan wrote: “I love you for just how natural you are Stacey. You’re a fantastic role model for young girls and women.”

While another said: “This is the best photo ever!! Real ladies having a real good time! #inspiration#realrolemodels.”

“You are an inspiration to many women, it’s sad that women feel pressured into wearing makeup and feeling the need to use filters. Just be yourselves. You go girls,” commented somebody else.

Solomon, 28, is a keen advocate for body-positive posts and took part in Loose Women’s Body Stories campaign last year.
