Rachel Stevens reveals Disney-themed name of new baby girl
After giving birth to her second child on April 1, Rachel Stevens has finally revealed the Disneyesque name of her new baby girl.
The 35-year-old, who shot to fame with S Club 7, took to Twitter with husband Alex Bourne, 36, to announce that their new daughter would be called Minnie Blossom Bourne.
Rachel wrote today: 'Introducing Miss Minnie Blossom Bourne. The pitter patter of (tiny) feet all 8 of them! Bursting with love xx.'
The couple, who already have three-year-old daughter named Amelie, also shared a photo of the family dangling their different sized feet off of the end of a bed.
Baby Minnie, who weighed 7lb 7oz, is shown nestled between her mum and big sister. In another picture, a row of shoes are lined up next to each other in order of birth year.
An excited Alex celebrated Minnie’s birth last week, Tweeting: 'Delighted to announce the safe arrival of our gorgeous little girl! @MsRachelStevens and baby both really well. Amelie happy and ‘cited (sic)'.
The couple later released a statement saying: 'We're so happy that baby has arrived safely. Within minutes of meeting her we were totally smitten.'
They added: 'Amelie is happy and 'cited to have a little sister to play with and we can't wait to introduce her to the whole family.'
