Professor Green says dating rumours are ruining his chances of finding love

Professor Green has claimed speculation over his love life is stopping him from finding love.

The rapper – real name Stephen Manderson – said rumours about him dating are preventing him from meeting women.

Green – who divorced from Millie Mackintosh earlier this year – rubbished reports about his love life on Twitter.

He posted: “All this rubbish speculation about me dating is making life very difficult when I do bump into a lovely girl at my local coffee shop.”

The Read All About it rapper’s tweet comes days after he reportedly invited two women to a BBQ on Twitter.

He allegedly posted: “Daniella and Emily, didn’t get your numbers. If you happen to be on Twitter there’s a BBQ tomorrow shout me.”

Green has been single since splitting from Mackintosh in February after two and a half years of marriage.

Mackintosh wed Green in September 2013 in a lavish ceremony at Babington House in Somerset, but in May the pair were granted a quickie divorce at a hearing that lasted less than 30 seconds.

In the court papers, Mackintosh cited "unreasonable behaviour" as the reason for the split.

Following the break, the Quality Street heiress struck up a relationship with her former Made in Chelsea co-star Hugo Taylor.

Green is currently preparing to release his fourth studio album and revealed that it will include references to his marriage to Mackintosh.

He said he will not be "nice just to sell records".

When asked if Mackintosh will be unhappy with his choice of lyrics, he told The Sun: “I think that can be assumed.

“But I’m not worried about that. People assume they know me and they know the box I fit into but I grew up rapping a totally different way.

“I hope people will let me release the music and the style that I want."
