Katherine Jenkins was the star of the show at Classic FM’s VE Day concert at the Royal Albert, glowing in a green halter neck dress.

The mother-to-be, who announced that she was expecting a baby girl with husband Andrew Levitas just last month, was met by a huge round of applause as she took to the stage to perform.

With spot-on maternity style, Jenkins showed off a hint of her tiny baby bump hidden under the floor-length Seraphine gown.

The 34-year-old was joined by a host of big names for the special concert, to mark the 70th anniversary of VE day.

Classic FM DJ Myleene Klass acted as host for the event, alongside John Suchet, while stars including Rebecca Ferguson and Wynne Evans performed.

Jenkins announced her first pregnancy in a statement just a few weeks ago, saying: “We are overjoyed to be expecting our first child in the autumn.

“Starting a family and moving into this exciting phase of our lives is a blessing for which we are incredibly grateful. We eagerly await the arrival of our little girl!”

Jenkins, who was previously engaged to presenter Gethin Jones, got engaged to Levitas after just six months of dating last year.

Soon after they wed last year, she told the Sunday People: “Now I'm married I do want kids. In fact rumours have started that I'm already expecting. My manager called me last week and asked, 'Are you pregnant?

“But I do really want a family. Please God, touch wood, we'll be lucky and they'll be fit and healthy. That's all I care about.”
