Nicole Scherzinger goes underground as she takes the Tube for the first time in London
She may be used to chauffeur-driven limousines but Nicole Scherzinger has shown she can slum it on public transport like the rest of us.
The singer, 36, made her first journey on the Tube through London yesterday - and somehow managed to avoid being mobbed by fans.
She teamed a simple black trench coat with skinny jeans for the occasion, hiding her face with a black fedora hat and dark sunglasses.
Posting pictures of the historic event on Instagram yesterday, she wrote: "#underground #firsttime #london".

The photos, one of which saw her posing with her legs in the air, were liked thousands of times by her fans, who congratulated her on the trip.
One wrote: "Good to see an honest singer using public transport for once good on ya @nicolescherzy #Legend #greatsinger."
Another said: "Getting the tube like everyone else".
Scherzinger, who has been in an on-off relationship with Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton since 2007, is currently starring in Cats at the London Palladium.
